Devnoric Clipora Chrome Extension Privacy Policy

Devnoric Clipora is a local-first text snippet manager provided by Devnoric. It has no account, no server, and no analytics. This page explains exactly what it keeps, where that data lives, and what it never touches.

Data Devnoric Clipora stores

Devnoric Clipora stores the snippets, categories, favorites, appearance settings, and copy statistics that the user creates inside the extension. Nothing else.

Where data is stored

The user chooses between two options, and can switch at any time from the settings page:

Chrome Sync

Data is stored using Google Chrome’s extension synchronization storage and can be synchronized between signed-in desktop Chrome browsers.

This device only

Data is stored only in Chrome’s local extension storage on the current device and never leaves the machine.

Devnoric Clipora and Devnoric do not operate a separate server for snippet storage.

Data Devnoric Clipora does not collect

Devnoric Clipora does not collect or transmit:

Permissions

storage Used to store snippets, preferences, and usage totals.
clipboardWrite Used only when the user explicitly clicks a snippet to copy its text. Devnoric Clipora never reads the clipboard.
contextMenus Used only to add the right-click item that saves selected text as a snippet. Devnoric Clipora reads the selected text only after the user clicks that item, and never reads page content on its own.

Third parties

Devnoric Clipora does not sell, rent, or share user data with third parties. When Chrome Sync is enabled, synchronization is provided by the user’s Chrome browser and Google account settings.

Security reminder

Please keep secrets out of any snippet manager. Users should not store passwords, payment card details, recovery codes, API keys, or other highly sensitive secrets in Devnoric Clipora.
